Game Summary – Wednesday, December 3rd, 2014
Tulane 83 – Loyola Chicago 70
This was a night I was slated to be in South-Bend witnessing the Notre Dame – Michigan State over-time thriller, but couldn’t get things to fall in place prior to departure. So the up-north track to the Gentile Arena seemed wiser. “Anyway the Ramblers opened the game with 3 turn-overs in the first few minutes, they finally settled down and scored with 16:27 into the game making it a 6-2 start. That was about as close as they got against a young talented Tulane ball club who shot at a pretty good clip in the 2nd half, Loyola had no answer for the Tulane six foot six senior forward Trey Drye who finished with 18. Loyola freshman Donte Ingram was a bright spot for the Ramblers bagging 14 pts
