Lutheran will prepare for their third trip to the state tournament in four years after defeatingPeoria Manuel. The Peoria team looked panicky as well as inexperienced, the Rams lacked justa true understanding of how to play. They hoisted-up so many three-point attempts, it felt likewe were watching the air show. Sophomore forward Romon Douglass tallied 11 points, whilefellow sophomore wiz Da’Monte Williams cradled only 8. “He’s got some work to put-in withhis game.” Joseph Kellen led Lutheran with 18, the Crusaders will face St. Joseph at 2pm on Fri3/20.
