Class 2A State Championship Game
Uplift sophomore Damarius Jacobs three point play with 32.8 seconds remaining in the game, pretty much sealed the victory, giving the Titans their first championship in school history. The North-Side school has only been in existence for 10 years. Senior point-guard Daniel Soetan was impressive, he scored a team high 13 points while registering six rebounds and six assists & five steals. Jeremy Roscoe managed 11 points. St. Teresa stand-out guard Christian Williams was held in check with 15 points on 6 of 17 shooting and had a couple bad miscues late in the game. Iowa and St. Louis U were in attendance viewing his every move, “and so were we!”
