ON POINT 2/16/2015

ON POINT

Life in the public league can often be plagued with some controversy, the Spot-Liter’s No. 13 rated area team Orr H.S. will have to forfeit nine conference wins.  Allegedly the first three forfeits were due to residency issues and the last five were for one player being academically ineligible, this according to the CPS.  Carbondale transfer Lavonte Sutton is the center of attention with the academic investigation, he didn’t suit-up in Orr’s upset victory over Morgan Park on Saturday, Orr will play Uplift in a quarter final contest on Sunday, February 15th.  “Business as usual in the city.”

Christian Williams a six foot five guard and one of the top 10 players in the 2015 class is back on the court, after a lengthy process was resolved with his eligibility, now we will sit back and watch where the recruiting trail will lead him.
