Lincoln Park senior point-forward Terrence Shannon's 42 points exhilarated the North-Side crowd at Lane-Tech Friday night leading the Lions to a 73-70 upset over Oak-Park. Shannon's 45 foot three-pointer with 3 seconds left in over-time left fans in state of uncontrollable excitement. Lincoln Park will advance to play Whitney Young on Tuesday.
The state's top un-signed senior Drew Peterson carted out his own heroics when his three-pointer at the buzzer knocked-out Conant in over-time 59-56 Friday night. He finished with a cool 30. Rice University should be leading for his services.
