THE STATE’S TOP AVAILABLE OR UN-SIGNED SENIORS

THE STATE’S TOP AVAILABLE OR UN-SIGNED SENIORS
“We actually have some quality prospects left on the board”

1.        Mark Smith                     6-4           G             HM                          Edwardsville – “Enjoying a sparkling year, should share some player of the year honors with Belleville Althoff’s – Jordan Goodwin in the Metro East Area. Smith, just landed offer from Texas. Smith is now highly recruited.”

2.        Alonzo Verge Jr.              6-2           PG           MM+-MM               Thornton – “Best player in the South Suburbs. Capable of being an exhilarating talent. Verge, has the ability to draw large crowds to view his show. Most of us worry about his off-the court vulnerability.”

3.        Lucas Williamson           6-4           F              MM                         Whitney Young – “Has consistently performed nightly. High-character talent; has UIC-NIU-Hofstra as his favorable trio.”

4.        Kawansie Wilkins           6-4           WG          MM                         Chicago Farragut – “Judging shouldn’t factor in his sub-par performance versus Simeon in a city quarter-final loss where *Oakland*Bradley*UNLV*SIU were position to view him. We in this area know he can play, his next destination will be determined by his up-coming outings.”

5.        Lenell Henry                    6-7           SF            MM                         Chicago Morgan Park – “A demon on the glass, one day he may venture out to the perimeter effectively. Right now, adding some muscle to his frame could make him an attractive pick-up. Chicago State & The Wac Conference could be a good fit.”

6.        Tai Bibbs                         6-3           G             MM                         West Chicago – “Superb athlete who has displayed the ability to score, whether on the perimeter or attacking the rim. Rice University is a new suitor, we can assure things are heating up quickly; Loyola-Chgo looks to be making a strong pitch.”

7.        Teyvion Kirk                     6-3           PG           MM                         Joliet West – “This slender lad carved out a significant victory, guiding his team to bragging rights over neighboring rival Joliet Central; understanding pace, possessions & deliveries should be his focus; he would prosper in an open-court setting.”

8.        Rod Henry Hayes             6-4           G             MM                         Zion-Benton – “Chic floor game, with the ability to knock-down shots, we love his potential at the collegiate level; does the name Rodney Pryor (Niles Notre Dame) ring a bell?”

9.        Jack Nolan                       6-1           PG           MM                         Benet Academy – “This kid reminds me of several players that use to spearhead recruiting logs some years ago in our state. His achievements and production seem to go un-noticed. He can facilitate & score. Why can’t he play in the *Mac*Horizon*OVC*or Valley Conferences?”

10.     Jacob Keller                     6-2           PG           MM-LM+ Fenwick – “This kid is a winner, he has those special intangibles that we don’t often recognize immediately. Knows how to manage & lead a team. Patriot league & high academic programs would be wise to pursue him.”
