We’ll wrap it up with
the 15-U division
NBU came in with 2 talented prospects who played well in
the 3 game set, Max Williams six foot one scorer from Latin School has a chance
to be one of the best players to come out of there in recent years. Whitney Young’s 6-1 frosh Tyler Bady
performed well, he opened some eyes with his sparking play. Patrick Steward coached the Demons 15 &
14-U squad, he had a collection of talent on hand with both groups. His 14-U group actually beat a 15-U team
while several of his youngsters played-up in the 16-U field. Notable players for the Demons we need to
recognize are 5-8 Devin Davis a point guard, Marcus Dorsey 6-3 a small forward
and Edmond Bryant a 6-1 talented lad from George Manierre Elementary. This trio is from a talented 2020 class.
Old Gold’s 15-U team split 3 games between 2 talented
groups. We will recognize some of their
more notable players at a later date; Example Sports descended into Plainfield
with a nice crop of talent from the far south suburbs, they’ve managed to do a
very good job of securing local talent in the Kankakee surrounding areas. We will talk about their program at a later
date, this made for a quality event in Plainfield. That sums up the event.
