Former St. Viator guard Roosevelt Smart now at Sunrise Prep just might still be on the available board.  Smart did not send back his letter of intent which should have been earmarked for Loyola-Chicago.  The Ramblers expended a lot of hours trying to help his transition ino their program go smoothly.  It’s disappointing that the kid and his circle of trust couldn’t visualize the big picture.

Six foot ten center Lamous Brown has packed his bags again, leaving the prep-school in Arizona, he will transfer to John A. Logan College immediately to begin the second semester.  Remember last season he was a little used reserve on Morgan Park 3A State Title Team.

Proviso East scoring guard Kalin Fisher de-committed from his agreement with Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.  “I’m wondering what he’s thinking.

Nebraska-Omaha departed ways with six foot nine senior center Alex O’Neal from Peoria Christian.  Rumors were flying around what the Summit League School had a change of heart of what they needed to fill at that position, seeming though O’Neal’s summer showing didn’t help his cause.  University Illinois at Springfield has widely indicated they have strong interest in his services.
