Hinsdale South upset Proviso East Tues nite (1-13-15) behind a monster performance from six foot nine junior post-man Barret Benson.  He recorded 36 points, 16 rebounds and 7 blocks completely dominating the paint.  This could be the kind of outing Barret can build some momentum on.  Georgetown, Stanford and a host of Big 10 schools continue to pursue.

The best kept secret in Illinois might be six foot four long-armed, southpaw Keymonte Johnson a junior from Decatur Macarthur.  Keymonte is an all-around performer, his stat sheet validates his production during the course of a game, he averages 18 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 4 steals and 3 blocks per game.  This kid will be a versatile asset on the next level.  Valley, A10, Conference USA, Horizon and MAC Conference should view him soon.  “One of my favorites in the 2016 class.  He quietly goes about his business.  He was all-tournament at Collinsville Xmas tournament.”
