Ferris State continues to be a presence in Illinois and from a visibility standpoint it has paid dividends. They landed Bogan’s six foot seven forward Antonio Thomas a steal for Ferris State.

Local Div. II program Lewis University nabbed a winner in Bloomington Central Catholic combo guard Jake Reinhart. One of my favorites in the 2015 class. Reinhart won a 2A championship last season. “Some Div One’s in Illinois missed the boat on this kid.”

Some other notable prospects made decisions recently; underrated 6-4 Providence Catholic scoring guard Jake Brody committed to Indianapolis; 6-8 center Kyle Flannigan of Oak-Forest gave a verbal to Wisconsin Park-Side; while Lake Zurich offensive-minded guard Mike Travlos settled on Hillsdale College. “These are all quality pick-ups for division 2 programs.
