DePaul received as early season blow when prized junior college transfer Rashaun Stimage broke his foot in practice over the weekend. The six foot eight forward had surgery today, he’s expected to be out 8-10 weeks. This upcoming season should be an exciting one for the Blue Demons. Coach Oliver Purnell has a surplus of quality pieces available to him this round. Despite the loss of the coveted recruit Charlie Thomas, a 6-9 power forward from Baltimore who will take the services to Wisconsin, Coach Purnell has the program on an upward swing. “We wish Stimage a speedy recovery.”
