MANEUVER’S

In Lincoln Park: It took Sophomore transfer Chris Harrison-Docks two foul shot’s with
under 20 seconds remaining to pull out a close ball game, giving DePaul 78-72 victory over
Robert Morris. Eli Cain netted 21 points for the Blue Demons before fouling out with 2:57
left. Robert Morris from the Northeast Conference received a game high 26 points from
talented Six Foot SiX Sophomore guard Isaiah Still, Sunday night.

In Evanston: Vic Law continued his hot start with 26 points as Northwestern defeated
Eastern Washington 86-72 at Welsh-Ryan Arena, Tuesday night. Junior point guard Bryant
McIntosh added 18 points and 7 assists, while Six Foot Eight Sophomore Dereck Pardon (12
points) looks like a promising front court prospect, someone to watch during Big 10 play.
Law, a 6’7” red-shirt Sophomore had been sidelined all last season with injury, looks healthy
and primed for a huge season. He led the Wildcat’s in scoring the first 2 games. This 2016-
17 campaign will have Chris Collins Wildcat’s in the NCAA tournament.

In Chicago: Sophomore forward Dikembe Dixon scored a season high 31 points and
Freshman guard tandem of Marcus Ottey 15, and Tarkus Ferguson 13 points guided the
Flames to a 86-78 victory over Texas-San Antonio spoiling De LaSalle grad George
Willborne’s homecoming. UIC’s Dixon, a 6’7” slithery scorer already has a flock of NBA
scouts tracking him, looks to be one of our finer young players we have among our state
colleges. The youthful Flames will be exciting to follow this season, especially in Horizon
League play.

East St. Louis Six Foot 10 Heart Throb Jeremiah Tilmon ended the suspense. He’s heading to
the University of Illinois. Tilmon a nationally ranked center should provide instant stability
paroling the paint on both ends for The Illini the next few years. We are all exuberant about
his arrival in Illini country.

Evanston four-star recruit Nojel Eastern announced he would also venture into the Big 10.
Eastern, choose Matt Painter’s Purdue program, leaving the likes of Michigan State, Ohio
State, DePaul and Seton Hall with another scholarship to tuck away. The 6 foot 6 guard

should fit in well at Purdue, stay tuned…
