Northern Illinois Elite Camp 8/10/2014

Northern Illinois Elite Camp

Sunday, August 10th, 2014

65-70 players descended upon the NIU Campus located in Dekalb, a little less than an hour from the Chicago West-Side.  The camp featured talented players from as far as Detroit, Michigan, 10-15 good looking prospects came in from the surrounding area of Gary, Indiana; then you had kids from all over the state of Illinois which made for a quality day.

The Northern Illinois coaching staff has continued to display the tireless energy and passion it takes to build a program for long-term success.  This summer they probably were one of our hardest working more visible Illinois colleges along the summer circuit.  NIU’s head master and Michigan State Alum Mark Montgomery is determined to have his program in contention for a MAC Conference title every year.  “I believe it” and we continue to see the fruits of their labor.

Illinois kids were head-lined by Rockford Auburn rising hot-shot guard Antoine Pittman.  We will identify some other top notch performances.
