Highly touted sophomore guard Jeremy Fears Jr. has grown somewhat antsy over the uncertainty of a hoop season. Reportedly he will continue to polish his game at La Lumiere Prep over in Indiana. Fears has an offer from Illinois and several other high-majors, I guess he feels he has a lot at stake with national profile.
A shoutout to my local guys out here on the hoop front lines making a conscientious effort to assure that some of our youngsters are receiving the necessary recognition and exposure they deserve during a Pandemic crisis. These guys have formed a nice partnership for sharing. These guys are: Lefty Boyd-Illinois High School Hoop Heads; Derek Ellison-National Prep Round Ball; Big Tim Coleman-Inside High School Basketball Review; Ricky Moore-Youth Junior Hoops Elite; Damion Porter Sr.-Team Illinois US Basketball; Kevin Dennis-Illinois High School Sports Central.
Six-foot six Donald Coates is on the move again, he
left Thornton to attend school in Indianapolis recently. He spent his first 2
years at Thornwood and his junior year he suited up with the Wildcats.
