Side-Line Myths

St. Joseph’s Glynn Watson, one of the top 8 players in the 2015 class in Illinois, decided over the weekend that University of Nebraska was the perfect place for him to operate his playmaking skills in a rising Big 10 situation.  Watson, a gamer who possess excellent speed & quickness chose the Corn Huskers over Creighton and several other Big 10 programs.
Zion-Benton forward Admiral Schofield played like a stud on a mission in late July proving to critics he was a ligit high-major talent. He recently selected University Tennessee after a visit.  “The Vol’s might be a good fit for him.”
It’s unfortunate to report but, Orr 2014 grad, Marlon Jones a high-flying forward just couldn’t complete some academic responsibilities required of him to be eligible immediately for the Loyola Ramblers.  Well, South Plains (TX) Junior College is his current residency and he’s off to a good start.

Lake Forest H. S. suffered a huge loss when six foot six forward Adam Wolf and his family moved to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin.  Wolf was the key component in teaming with Evan Boudreaux and sharp-shooter Noah Karras to provide hopes of a contending finish for a state run in March.

St. Viator lost its stand-out shooting guard Roosevelt Smart.  He elected to attend Sunrise Christian, a prep school in Kansas.  “Not a surprise.”

Jalen Brunson’s Leading 5 to Watch:  Just left Illini Country, obviously didn’t pull the trigger; heads to Villanova, Sept. 4th-6th and Temple the following weekend.  Jalen’s most watched visit will be the Michigan St. tour in the middle of the month.  He will wrap things up the end of the month with Matt Painter’s crew at Purdue.
