De Paul received a verbal from Guinea native Oumar Barry a six foot nine inch power forward who Preps at Bishop O’Connell High School in Northern Virginia. Barry, a strong rebounder is considered by many to be the 10th best player in the 2015 class in Virginia. The big fella statistically had modest numbers during his junior season, but area observers view Oumar as a promising prospect. His commitment created a huge buzz on De Paul’s north-side campus, prompting many to believe the Blue Demon’s quest for long-term success isn’t far away. “Kudos Oliver Purnell and his staff.”
