SOME PLAYERS WE ARE KEEPING A WATCH ON

"Low division hopefuls, potential solid D2 prospects, small College gems." Several likely looking for a walk-on situation.

Kaleb Thornton 6-0 G Bolingbrook"Currently out with an injury, silver quick finishes at the rim, well with either hand."

Josh Boulanger 6-3 F Brothers Rice"Scrappy fella, good athlete plays hard, limited skills. Small College gem."

Robert 'R.J.' McGee 6-5 F Chicago Kenwood"Hasn't yet learned to impact a game with his physical abilities. Has some offensive punch. Plays or drifts in & out. Low D1, good Div. 2 recruit."

Robert Harvey 6-3 G/F Hillcrest"A high character kid with a game that could excel in the right setting. Likely Div. 2 recruit."

Jordan Matthews 6-0 G St. Rita"Lefty combo has some ability to make plays. A slasher type. Small College."

Bill Flowers 6-4 F Lincoln Park"Absolutely love his game; he may opt to walk-on at Wisconsin. He's a strong student obviously. Good mid-range shooter, exceptional athlete. Div. 2 recruit."

Raekwon Drake 6-5 SF Chicago Orr"Outstanding leaper, his game has taken a back-seat. Looks disengaged often. Low Div. one, may need a Juco experience."

Kenyon Duling 6-3 G/F Morgan Park"This swingman is a stud; plays hard. Get's to the rim, could mask as a defender. Div. 2 recruit."

"Can play at a Div. I level. System guy who can sparkle as a good
shooter & defender. Very team-oriented."

Branden Ellis 6-4 G/F Warren Township "Deceptive athlete, can score in bundles, all tourney at Pontiac, low D. 1, a very good D2 recruit."

Anthony Lynch 6-2 G Elgin-Larkin"Very good player, D2 recruit, consistency in his floor game should be his focus."

Matt Myers 6-4 G/F Willowbrook"Superb shooter, nice size & knows how to play; could walk-on at high-major situation."

Ryan Kutsor 6-4 G Lake Zurich"Good shooter, played well vs Drew Peterson over the weekend. Could walk-on somewhere."

  1. I think it's hilarious and disturbing that people even trust this guy w/anything. I'll give him credit, he could sell ice to Eskimos but those are some pretty pathetic eskimos. This man sell dreams to kids who have aspirations of going somewhere and being somebody. The bad part is that he controls the dreams the whole way from beginning to end therefore controlling the child and the parents who have already spent the thousands in their mind that their sons haven't even made yet. I met this man in a non ILLINOIS WARRIOR circumstance and could see right through him. I saw him take an opportunity that was given to him by some obviously not so bright politicians and show total disregard for a community and it's youth. I seen him convert an older landmark community building (for the children of the community) and convert it into a WARRIORS workout facility. I seen him cancel programs on the weekend that kids from the community were suppose to participate in for free so the the could have a 3 day tournament for his WARRIORS. Then he'd turn around and charge the same kids to get into watch the games if he let them in at all. I've seen him close a building during Christmas break w/snow on the ground and nothing better for the community kids to do and then an hour later have it filled w/teens from all over who's parents paid nothing towards taxes or the use of this building just to have his own private domain. And boy have I seen him walk around w/a shit eating grin on his face like he's the king of the world and could do no wrong. In the basketball world ,or whatever it is that he's involved in, he may be a champion to many people but in the real world I don't know if he even knows what the definition of integrity is. I read a story about him just prior to finding this page and it said how he had a difficult time during the mid to late 90's and I seen it first hand. Yah wanna know why...KARMA! That's why! I haven't seen or heard from this man since then which, as a good human being, I'm completely ok with. I was one of those people who didn't need a free pair of adidas or whatever BS he was offering and I don't think he liked that he couldn't cover up his greed and BS w/a pair gym shoes. It worked for a few but I was glad when he was gone. I'll admit it took a while for the politicians to open their eyes and nobody really wants to admit that they hired the wrong person but they were way off the mark w/this guy. I wanted to see him walk out in disgrace after being let go and I wanted to look him in the eye and tell him what very little he knew about being a man and a true leader but unfortunately for me and fortunately for him I got to the parking lot too late. It was fun watching his escort from the property and slightly gratifying to see him gone. Now I read that he's the director of recreations at another facility not very far from where he worked prior and it makes me wonder how the people who hired him couldn't see what his intentions were. New facility for his team and nothing for the community or it's children probably. Maybe they are Eskimos w/brand new gym shoes!?!?!?!
